October 2012 - 50 Pound Challenge Goal

The goal for the month was to pick any goal and stick with it all month. Mine has been to walk at least 3,000 steps per day for 5 days a week. The quote I use to keep me motivated is:

"It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed."
- Theodore Roosevelt

I will be the first to admit, I am the hardest on myself and hence hate failure. I made my goal something reasonable for a reason. . .so I would succeed.

    Hey Chris! I was looking through my spark friends and saw this beautiful smile looking back at me. You are so beautiful my girl! How did you do with your steps challenge? Becky and I could only add a few steps a day when we started. In this cold weather sometimes it is very hard for us to get over 5000 steps. Then some times we go shopping and have noooo problem what so ever getting 10000. Oh Well.
    Becky and Tom are in Texas right now on vacation. So I am home alone !0! Well, I am taking care of Princess (cat). Going to fitness 5 days a week. You take care ! emoticon
