Day 94 / 100-Day Exercise and no junk food streak

Had a great day yesterday. Kept to plan, even though I was dying to gorge on food when I got home.

Sometimes I think my lifelong tendency to overeat has been simply out of boredom. Life can get so monotonous. Get up, go to work, do same things every night at home, go to bed, start over. Food has been my MO for entertainment.

It's such a lie. Like all other escapes from reality, it doesn't really work, and it makes me unhappy in the long run.

I made my own Haystacks yesterday as I was having a sweet tooth attack. I mixed old-fashioned oats, shredded coconut, pure maple syrup, natural peanut butter and put a tablespoon or so of this mixture in mini-cupcake tins and put it in the freezer. I had one and it hit the spot! My family loved it.

Menu today:
B: cooked oatmeal with a teaspoon of brown sugar
snack: 2 clementines
L: salad
snack: apple
Dinner: dunno yet...I'm always clueless about dinner...

Walking at lunch today.
