SO this is my very first blog entry...its hard for me to write or track food because we dont have internet at our house and the only access I have is at work (Im a nurse in an office and I dont have alot of time to get online at work, let alone write a blog entry :) But i will try to commit to once a week atelast. I also need to get some pics on here...
So I actually started my diet at the beginning of October. I just had a baby at the end of June and managed to get back to my pregregnancy weight, I think because I ran up until I was 8months along, and ate fairly healthy, that helped me acheive fast weightloss after the baby was born. Now, I am doing the Atkins because I would like to lose 37lbs which would put me at a weight that I was in highschool at my heaviest....I did really well at the beggining of the month, but got a little lost, and I am back and more motivated.
YEsterday and today have been good days. I havent eaten any sugar or carbs. I went to the YMCA on Monday and ran over 2 miles. I am going again Wednesday and Friday as well. IM just commiting to 3 days a week right now, and will gradually add more days during the week...if I set my goal too high then the chances are higher that I wont acheive them and I will get discouraged. But with working and having 3 preteen girls and a baby that is 3 months old I have limited time & limited sleep :)

Slow and steady wins the race! You're smart to do things gradually, it really helps to form a habit, avoids injuries and makes it easier to stick with a program for the long run.

    Best wishes!

You go girl. Just know that I don't believe in diets. The best way to achieve your goal weight is to make a lifestyle change. I think it is best not to exclude any foods but to eat some foods in very small (I mean really small) portions.
