Here's my homemade soup I made this morning before going to work. The ideal popped in my head and I ran with it.


Ingredients you will need:

1 Med tomato
1/2 cp. black beans (canned)
1/4 cp. onion
1 handful of fresh spinach
(5) small shrimp
1/2 tbsp of EVOO
1 cp. of distilled water

These are the seasonings I used:
A pinch of garlic powder, pepper, sea salt and hot pepper seeds.

Place items into blender:

1 Med tomato (quarter)
1/2 cp. black beans
1/4 cp. onion
1 handful of fresh spinach
-- You may need to add a little water to give the soup a thinner consistency.

I added a pinch of garlic powder, pepper, sea salt, hot pepper seeds. I'm a spicy gal. Blend to your consistency.

NOW LET'S PREPARE THE SHRIMP mmm yum

Place 1/2 tsp of EVOO in pan with med heat, be careful not to let the oil burn. Once the oil is hot carefully place shrimp in pan and season with garlic powder. I let mine get a little seared. I then cut them into little pieces to appear like I had lots of them :-)

My soup was ready for a bowl and I then placed the diced shrimp and scrapings from the pan on top of the soup.

NOTE: Soup will appear very green looking :-)
