October 15, 2012 Thank-you Motivation!

I haven't updated in a few days, I have been so busy and didn't even have the chance yesterday to log on and see what was happening in this lovely sparkpeople world! This past weekend I went somewhat haywire with my diet...I went out with some friends on Saturday night and didn't eat (or drink) too well but we did go dancing so I (somewhat) got a little bit of a cardio fix. Today I had a bit of a food rampage and didn't get in a lot of vegetables so I will be making sure I have an extra side of greens tomorrow in my lunch, snacks, and dinner. I also made myself workout tonight even though I wasn't feeling like I should but I am so glad I did! I have been struggling through the beginnings of a cold and I think my workout tonight helped make me feel a little better! It was only about 30-35 minutes but better than nothing! It took myself a good convincing but if I am really sticking to this "new me" plan I need to suck it up and workout even when I don't feel like getting off the couch! Every bit counts right?

Anyways, this isn't the most exciting update. I will perhaps have a better entry tomorrow!
