A quick note

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to everyone who has made comments on my blogs or page or sent a Spark goodie lately. I'm in a super busy time at work that has me running a little ragged, plus a lot going on with life in general, so I haven't been able to get online as much as I'd like to say thank you individually, comment on others' blogs, or be very active in my teams. I'm still here, still doing well in spite of the increasing proliferation of tempting treats that seem to pop up everywhere you turn. I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel, at least in terms of work, so I'm hoping to have a little more time to spend here after another week or so.
It is amazing to me that in spite of the pressure and stress of life right now, I'm not reaching for the nearest carb or sweet constantly. That's a definite change in mindset and action from my old ways, and it's encouraging to see the number on the scale staying steady in the low to mid 140s even if I can't get in as many or as long a run as I'd prefer. I'm doing TRX once a week now in addition to two strength training classes a week, and I love it--next best thing after running in my book.
That's it for now--gotta check in on a couple of teams and get things together for the week before bedtime. I have a feeling tomorrow may be a very long day at work!
