The mid-week fumble

Every Sunday or Monday, I renew my resolve to get back in gear and lose weight. I do ok. And then somewhere around Wednesday (give or take a day), it all comes to a complete halt.
It could be almost anything. I really love the dinner and want to taste more. I had a hard day at work and just don't want to think. My kid is sick. Whatever it is. Something derails me, and I find it extremely hard to find my way back. I might even track the food the first day. But the second day? Hardly. And then I don't do it at all.
Until the weekend. And then I start feeling it again. Just a little rest goes a long way. I guess.
Now that I've recognized there is a pattern (and there is), I need to figure out how to put a stop to it. Or how to at least start right back up even if one day went horribly wrong.
