Day:27 Focus on the Destination

Friday, October 12, 2012

"Draw your strength and inspiration from the purpose you’ve chosen to follow and from the value you intend to create. Focus on the destination, and you’ll work your way there no matter what." ~""

Yay the computer got fixed! Now I can get caught up and back to getting work done and completing some projects. Thank goodness I've got some good organizing systems in place so I didn't feel out of control during the computer downtime. That is something that is important, being in control, but it's impossible to foresee any bumps in the road. Strength comes form knowing how to navigate around unexpected occurrences and that is something I'm always working on by learning organizing techniques that work for me. I've learned alot from David Allen's book "Getting Things Done" not only for business purposes but also life goals at every level, daily, weekly, monthly 5 years from now. I refer back to it when things start to feel scattered.

Alrighty, approaching day 30 of my 3 lbs in 30 days goal I set for myself. Food choices are still good and I'm staying within the right calorie range and still tracking food on my iphone app. Got a good routine going, so focusing on the destination is a super helpful reminder for me to start the day!

Have a great day getting to your destinations!!
