Goals update - October blog 9

Today was a special day for me - the day my baby girl Brandy turned 39! AND the day my nieces Karen and Sharen turned 56 - Brandy was born on their 17th birthday! Having a 39 year old daughter feels so surreal to me - wasn't it just a few years ago that she went with me and my friend Holly Beth to Savannah, GA where I ran my first marathon on MY 39th birthday? Could that REALLY have been 25 years ago? Wow! Years go by FAST, friends - enjoy each and every moment of them!!
On to my goals for October:
ST every day (one break day per week allowed) - work one body part a day - at least 90 reps total. Yesterday was lower body - I was feeling fine and did 150 sets.
Cardio - at least 60 minutes 6 days a week. My knee felt much better so I got in 92 minutes of cardio.
Nutrition - continue to increase the fresh vegetables and fruit in my meals while eating less animal products and processed foods. Had 11 servings of freggies!
Today has been another good day! I feel as if I am getting back in the groove with both my fitness and my eating! Talk to you tomorrow!!
