Time to Crush FAT in the face :)

Tuesday, October 09, 2012

Although my health journey started back in June, I'm new to Spark People. I have dropped 60 lbs, and while I have a long way to go - I want to share my results and hopefully inspire others to get healthy as well. I've also hit a plateau so it's time for me to take more responsibility and really track my food/exercise so that I can break this darn plateau and crush it in the face! :)

A little background on me: I've tried it all. Previously I would have never admitted that, but I've come to realize that to help others I have to be honest about my life and my past choices. You name the diet program, diet pill, or diet drink and I have tried it. Some I had success with but was completely unhealthy. Others didn't work at all and were a HUGE waste of money.

Now I'm healthier than I've ever been, 60 lbs lighter, off my thyroid medication, quit smoking, and most of all - HAPPIER. I still have a long way to go, but I am SO happy to be on my way. :) I hope to share more with you all and encourage you along the way.
