UGH - Weekends

I'm at the point in my life that I look forward to the weekends, but I also don't look forward to the weekends.

I work a full time job, and my commute is 2 hours each way (I spend a lot of time on the train). Weekends are so important to me, just to catch up. I always say I shouldn't waste my life looking towards the weekends, but that's just how life it right now.

On the OTHER hand, weekends are so hard for me with my food choices. Exercise is not a problem, I tend to over do it since I am home. I'm just better at having to pack my lunch and snacks during the week, there is no grazing.

If it wasn't for the weekends, I would probably be halfway to goal right now. All the good work that I do during the week, falls apart over the weekend and on Monday, I'm back where I started.

I should post that last paragraph on my Spark page -- I think I will!

    I know how you feel weekends are tough and we all tend to be a little lax but you don't have to me.. you can apply the same schedule to the weekend as you do all week, minus getting up early and riding to work.. but you can plan your breakfast Lunch and dinner and even pack it put it in the frig.. then you might now be so tempted.. to eat off plan but either way what ever works.. for you just know you only have to do it for 2 little days.

    I know the feeling ; my weekends are "almost cheat days" except for exercise!
    Keep it up- you know what to do and you can do it!
    I will make it my short term goal... For the next 4 weeks!

    I know how you feel, all week long I do my best to be good only to mess up each and every weekend... I would have also lost a lot more weight than I have so far but I know that this is a learning process and I have to force myself to break bad habits. Good luck!
