Day 19 of My Streaks

Sunday, October 07, 2012

I had a pretty good day today; still no Diet Dr. Pepper. I baked 3 loaves of zucchini bread and put 2 in the freezer. I was going to make my son's birthday cake today, but he wanted me to wait until tomorrow. I think he was afraid that he would be tempted to eat some today. I fixed a delicious pot roast for supper.

Today we took the dogs for 2 walks. They so wanted to go out walking today. We took them for a walk in the afternoon. I didn't realize how warm it was outside. It was 88 degrees and mostly sunny out. Needless to say I was sweating when we came back in. After supper, we took them for another walk. This is more than I usually do on Sundays. Sundays are usually my rest days.

Again, thank you to all who are reading my blogs. I really appreciate all the support and encouragement. I have to tell y'all that the person who has inspired me to do my streaks is Pixie-licious. She has been going such a fantastic job with her streak. I hope that my streak goes on as long as hers is going, which is 221 days.

Hope everyone has a great week!!! Make it a healthy and active week!!!

Lainie, you are awesome! Keep that streak going, one day at a time! When I started streaking, I never looked too far ahead, and I never imagined that I could make it to 222 days! Just focusing on each day as it arrived helped me to keep going. I know you can do it! You're already off to a GREAT start!
