Zumba kicked my coo!!!

OMG!!! Well folks, this week I purchased the new Zumba fitness game for my Wii. I spent the first couple of days just getting familiar with the different dance steps and trying out individual songs. Even with just doing that I was sweating. Then today I decided to do a mid length workout routine. All I can say is....WOW!!!
I was completely drenched after 43 minutes. I was shocked at how quickly the time passed. I love the music and the choreography is challenging but not impossible and it's very entertaining and fun. I had a ball! Make sure if you do it, you have your waterbottle handy. Your gonna need it!
Also still walked the dogs this morning. Walked for 45 minutes. Will be walking them again tonight. Buddy and Skeeter certainly keep me honest. They demand their walks, no matter what, and I feel like I disappoint them and let them down if I don't walk them. Buddy is trimming down and improving his endurance too, with all these walks. emoticon woo hoo!!!!

I had also bought the Wii as opposed to getting a gym membership because it allows me the freedom to work out in the privacy of my own home and it IS so much cheaper! Also, I can be a completely uncoorinated fool in the privacy of my own home, work up a sweat and not risk getting laughed at! :-) There are a lot of plusses to it. It's just a good thing my dogs can't talk....or laugh at me, for that matter! LOL.

I bought the Zumba DVD and had a ball trying to learn the moves. I am totally uncoordinated and thats what makes it such fun for me. I was thinking of joining a gym but with big changes in my workplace I don't want to commit myself to something that is going to cost but I may just buy me a WII. A gift to myself. Thank you for inspiring me.
