Making progress!

Friday, October 05, 2012

I've been doing the Weight Watchers online program for 11 days now and it's going really well. I don't know why, but it's easier for me to eat within my points allowance than it is for me to count calories. It's probably just because it's a change from my old routine. In any case, it's working. I'm 5 pounds down and I've been exercising diligently.

I'm also pleased to announce that six (previously too-small) articles of clothing have rejoined my wardrobe! I can't believe how much stuff I have just sitting in my closet. I gathered them all up yesterday and tried some of them on. There's a great selection and a few different sizes so I won't need to buy clothes again for quite a while. I can't wait to try everything on again when I've lost another 5 pounds or so!

Your closet sounds like mine! I have all these clothes just waiting for me to fit back into them. And as my clothes get too big, I immediately bag them up for donation. I am NOT going to ever fit into them again!

Isn't it great to shop in your own closet for things that now fit? I've recently cleared out half my closet space with things that were too large and am now wearing things that are actually starting to be too large.

Keep up the good work! emoticon
