I didn't want to :( but I worked out anyway :)

Friday, October 05, 2012

I'm trying hard to keep my streak going, but I really didn't want to work out today. It's getting cold and it's rainy and I ache. My strength training the other day really took a toll on my muscles and I'm really worn out.
All in all, I'm just cranky and I didn't want to work out this a.m. Lucky for me, my workout buddy had already left for the gym. I hated the idea of leaving her waiting on me so I went even though it wasn't what I felt like doing.
Turbo kick totally kicked my butt and I only got through 15 minutes before I gave up. I did get in 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes of strength training. Now I'm going to rest and relax for the rest of the afternoon. I'm going to curl up with a good book and unwind.

Next week is Fall Break for the boys. We'll see what this does to my workouts. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Strenuous workouts WILL affect your central nervous system. Your body NEEDS rest to re-coup. The signs that your CNS is caving-in are the signs you have just described. Over-working your CNS screws up your metabolism and can result in muscle loss. is a site you may want to look into for more information. May God bless your progress, Earl emoticon
