On the Mend

I woke up and actually wondered--just for a second--if I'd just imagined the muscle strain . . .

It was a fabulous second, too.

But then I moved wrong and the little knot mid-back (excuse me: thorax) gave a little twinge and I knew it was too good to be true.

Still, I'm not in dire pain. I dressed myself this morning. I dried my own hair. I can even breathe deeply and not feel a thing!

Of course, I'm still on hefty doses of ibuprofen. I'm hoping that I'll be able to ease off it in the next 24 hours and be able to go for an *easy* walk tomorrow to keep myself moving. At this rate, though, I should be back on track early next week--just in time to pack and prep for my weekend away. (It's always something, right?)

Thanks to everyone for the encouraging comments and well wishes. It's definitely helped me stay positive!
