Less of a blog, more of a blurb

I seem to be suffering a little bout of insomnia. I was up at 3a.m. this morning. As much as I enjoy waking up and having energy, a good night's sleep (aka more that 5 hours) would do me good. There's going to be quite a bit of coffee in my life today.
But again I made the best of it. Decided I would go for a little walk. The nights/early mornings are feeling a little more brisk which is a relief. My walk was at a decent pace and only took me 20 minutes so I hopped on my bike and did another 2 laps around the complex after that, which took about 15 minutes. In all honesty, I have to say I really like the feeling of having my workouts done before the day has even really started. I'll do some crunches and squats while I'm cooking dinner tonight and be good to go.
Taking things one day at a time has been one of the smarter things I have done in a long time. I don't have that "all or nothing" mentality and taking a different approach has definitely been paying off. That and the support of Sparkpeople, as always, is making a huge difference. More to come on that topic at a later date.
Let's all make today ridiculously amazing, even if it IS a monday!
