So today marks the start of a new life for some of my family members and I. I have convinced them to join me in this quest for a healthier, more active life-style. Some of them have already had great success with weight loss, and are now just trying to maintain! Today is the first weigh-in, and picture day for later comparison. I'm so excited to get started!!
I hope to see some good progress, so everyone stays motivated. I'll be keeping track of my own progress here in my blog. I encouraged everyone else to do the same on their own SparkPages.
The blog posts should be a weekly happening, with every weekly weigh-in.
So far we've all agreed to:
Cut off soda
Drink more water
Make healthier food choices
And get at least 10 minutes exercise each day, 5 days a week.
With each blog I'll be encouraging everyone to make note of their mental state, energy level, and motivation level, for future reference so we can later see the change!
Anyway, here's my first blog post.: It'll be a bit short this time, as I don't have a ton to report yet!
Mental State: Excited about getting everyone started!
Energy level: Not too good, but my excitement is keeping me going!
Motivation level: I am SO motivated right now, I want this to work for everyone!
My current goal is to get to 225 by the first of next year. It may be a bit of a stretch, but I like to believe I can do it! Hope I have some good news by next week's weigh in! :D
