My first week with you guys and I wasn't really sure this program would work for me. Especially when i weighed in at 260lb. then weighed in three days later, only to find I had gained 2lbs. But after a full week following the food, fitness plan I weigh 257lb. Off to do my bench press workout.

    Finished my cardio & upper body workout. Had my Cantaloupe yogurt & flaxseed smoothie with toast. Nothing to do till noon day. emoticon emoticon

    It is a process fitting in healthy eating habits with a work schedule. I have similiar issues with a family history of diabetes and losing my mother to the disease and a close diagnosis myself.
    I would suggest and it is only a suggestion, as I am not am expert,that you do some research into meal plans or working with the Sparkpeople plan. There will be some ups and downs, just stay focused on your plan. Use some discipline and determination to achieve your goals.
    I see you are off to strength training ,stick with it and you will get the results you want. Good luck to you.
