Comfort Exercise, wow, what a thought. I read it in today’s feature article “Take Action Against Emotional Eating.” This is a revolutionary idea for me to put into action. This week was especially challenging because of muscle spasms. I started baby steps toward adding exercise. After Zumba Gold Chair Exercise, Anne Burell’s Stronger Seniors and Paul Eugene’s Chair Exercise, I had a huge grin on my face. They were so cheerful and I could do some parts of them. When I was following Catherine MacRae’s Gentle Yoga Chair Exercises, I realized that I could move my right leg better than I could the beginning of the week. That really comforted me! It’s only a few minutes that I can do so far and I never know what might trigger a spasm but they DO help and they DO bring some comfort. Comfort Exercise, who’da thunk it!
