Colds kind of suck

I thought earlier this week I had allergies, but I'm pretty sure it's a nasty cold instead.
Of course, this little body invader hasn't really helped me work towards my goals this week, with the exception of drinking more water. I'm surprised by how much fluids I've been drinking. I'm usually really bad about that when I get sick. Anyway, I've been taking everything I can to control these symptoms and get the eff over this thing. I have a deadline on Monday for work and I had to take off today because there was no way I was going into the office in this condition and really just annoying everyone in the cubes around me with my incessant nose blowing and throat hacking.
I haven't worked out since Tuesday and I feel so BLAH, especially after the streak I've been on! I have done everything I can to stay away from sugar and lactose, but carbs - I didn't stand a chance. Cereal, bread, mashed potatoes...I hate that I have such a weakness for carbs when the littlest thing goes wrong. Just goes to show how much further I have to go in my journey. One day in the future, I just know I'll get sick and think, "I'm going to eat nothing by soup and fruit and drink plenty of water like a responsible adult." But that day has not arrived.
