It's been a while.
When I first came down to Florida to look for a place, I ate a bit more permissively and didn't exercise as much, but I was still living in moderation. Now that I've been here some 7 weeks I have totally thrown caution to the wind. Ok well, not ENTIRELY...
I'm barely exercising, although I AM eating a lot of fruits and a moderate amount of vegetables. And a whole bunch of other things. So not perfect. Plus, I haven't weighed myself in a good 2 months and I do not want to. That is probably a sign! I know that I ought to, just so I can say, ok I am X lbs. I have been X lbs before, let's do this gurl.
The last couple days I have been up early (9 am kinda early). I had to really convince myself to get on the treadmill and even when I got on all I did was walk for maybe 20 minutes at an incline of 4 or 4.5 and at a pace of maybe 3.2 mph. Not challenging but still not nothing. I thought I'd already have done some running today yet managed to find lots of other things that needed my attention first. Because you know those dishes couldn't wait.
In brighter news, school has started. I am pretty psyched to start, the staff has been great so far, I love the campus, and everyone I've met has been professional and polite. Today will be my second day of class. Class starts at 5 pm! It's a dream come true! I love the night, so this works perfect for me.
My biggest challenge I think will be making friends. I've never had any problems making friends before but I am kind of introverted and have anxiety and those are my personal challenges to overcome. Oh yea, and I have depression and it's been rearing its ugly head. But I am working on it(?) as best I can. Which is why I seriously need to start exercising regularly and eating as best I can!
Anyway, I have managed to track my water and coffee so far today. I am going to make an effort to begin tracking again as I know it is super helpful when it comes to getting back on track.
