Birthday Whole30 Day 1

Yay for good starts!
I weighed in at 138 this morning, with a 30.5 inch waist. That's my main marker, my waist measurement. I'm an apple. It happens.
Breakfast was a three-egg scramble with some picante sauce and half an avocado on top! I LOVE avocadoes!
I had a banana before class and came home ready to EAT ALL THE THINGS, so I heated up two of my little egg cups and ate them with some grape tomatoes and the other half of my 'cado. I waited 20 minutes and I was still absolutely ravenous, so I drank a little water and had the other two egg cups (I froze/defrosted them in bags of 4). After another 20 minutes, I was still in EAT ALL THE THINGS mode so I had some chicken thigh meat. I told my stomach to STFU and be happy and leave me alone so I could go hang out with the fiance.
I was really hungry come dinnertime (breakfast was at about 8:30, banana at 11, the nom-fest was between 1:30 and 3, and it's almost 7:30 now). I remember my first Whole30 (the one I did half of) and my chiropractor asking me if I was crazy hungry the first few days of it, because every time she does one she's totally starving the first 3 or 4 days. I didn't get hit with it that time, but now I get what she meant.
Mom and Daniel and I went out and had barbecue for dinner for our birthdays (Dan's was Monday, mine today, Mom's tomorrow). I skipped beans and bread and enjoyed chicken and ribs with a little taste of sauce and a baked sweet potato. The baked beans at this place are my absolute favorite anywhere, so I was a little sad, but hey. Ribs. Mom hadn't had ribs in YEARS, so it was great for her, too.
Now that I'm a little stuffed (it was barbecue!) I'm pleased with my choices today. My goal for tomorrow is to spend a minimum of three hours on my thesis and finish my entire PT workout with no short cuts, because my hip is driving me batty. It's not easy to motivate to do it when I've been sitting literally all day long doing work. Yuck.
