30 Day Blog Challenge - Blog 8 & 9

Yesterday somehow got away from me so I'm going to do two blogs in one.

8. What do you think will be different when you reach your goal weight? If you are in maintenance, what did you think would be different? What actually was different?
To be honest, I'm a few pounds from goal, but I thought my love life would be different. I thought the boost of confidence I would gain from weight loss with my new figure would have made me more popular on the dating circuit, but that just hasn't been the case unfortunately. It hasn't seemed to make any difference at all. :(

9. How old are you and do you think your thoughts about weight loss, fitness, and wellness have changed over time?
I just turned 36, and I guess I used to want to be super skinny, model like, and now I want to be strong. Weight loss now for me is more linked to fitness and I have a better grasp of the correlation between food and exercise and energy and wellness. I have finally learned that I can't out-exercise a bad diet. Go figure.
