Papaya Praise

Monday, September 24, 2012

I had the good fortune of buying a ripe papaya. I will never understand the reasons supermarkets discount ripe fruit and display them on the "crap rack". It seems like they could charge a premium for really ready to eat fruit but I will continue to enjoy the fruits of their errors and hunt for bargain treats: yellow bananas, ripe papaya, mango, and avocado.

Secret Message: this blog is REALLY about the Spark Wheel. The great and powerful Spark Wheel ate a very clever and insightful blog that happened to poke a little good-humored fun at the all-knowing Spark Wheel. I pointed out the fact that I keep winning 2 points while going through a lean period in terms of earning Spark points. I continue to wait for a time that I can talk about myself and lean in the same sentence! In the meantime, I noticed the lack of Spark Wheel points now that I really need them to add to my stash because I'm not getting points in the other traditional ways such as tracking healthy lifestyle actions. No measuring anything (minutes, miles, food, my waist, my weight)! The Spark Wheel is like Santa and knows if you are good or bad.

Makes me hungry! And for the Sparkwheel, I just sort of spin it and sometimes don't even look at the number. LOL!

I have the SAME thing with produce @ my market! I buy the ripe bananas and use them to make frozen banana which is like soft serve. LOVE it. You're right . . . we're eating the fruits of their errors! So be it. Fine with me for sure.

    The sparky wheel . . . it's temperamental 2 best.

HUGS to you and hope you're doing well.

The Spark Wheel often ignores my pleas, zooms past the high points, and gives me only a 2 or 3.

    It doesn't listen!

Papaya is wonderful for digestion, and anti-inflammatory properties! I love papaya. Ate it all the time when we were stationed in Hawaii.
Better start doing what you need to so that you can accumulate some Spark Points!
If you did this, you wouldn't have to depend on the Spark Wheel for those points!

Good connection. Papaya is great for digestion, an antiinflammatory, and tastes good as well. Glad you enjoy the less expensive fruits and get a point here and there.
