This morning I decided it was time to do a time trial run to gauge my improvement over time. I was able to do a mile and a half in 17.2 minutes. I think I will run one of these time trials once a month to monitor my improvement. I have planned out my menu for the day, and I will stick to it! My calculated caloric intake for the day is 1407. I can tell that I have been consistently eating far too many calories, because writing out what I was going to eat today, I feel that I will be hungry. I think I will be able to handle being hungry if it will result in me losing weight. I plan on cycling my calories with 1700 every other day and 1300 every other day. Once a week I will give my self a day to eat at maintenance for my current weight. I am afraid of being hungry, which stems from being ill if I got hungry while I was pregnant. I need to prove to myself that that is an irrational fear. Wish me luck!
