Happy Monday!

Monday, September 24, 2012

emoticon I have to admit that although the title is happy and chipper that is not how I feel right now. Like usual its Monday which means that I totally went off track this weekend but not as bad as I usually do! Saturday was a great day... I didn't go out, I was able to clean, cook, go food shopping, get laundry done, had movie night (the avengers-finally and The first Lord of the Rings- also finally lol) and played a dice game all without a drop of alcohol. Now its not to say that all I do is drink during the weekend but when I am in a social event or among friends its a given...

emoticon Sunday was a totally different day though. My team participated in a parade (in which I was able to log in at least 2600 steps and one hour of intermittent walking) but after that I had to go to my god-son's 8th birthday party where all of my friends and family were and beer as well...oh well I could have said no put instead I said wth and had a great time. (omg am I paying for it now-sluggish, bloated, tired) ( -___- ) I at least got in 2 solid songs of dancing felt good but my legs wanted to seize up by the second song! lol

emoticon So today will be a day to reflect, regroup, and regain my great attitude that I had last week and to make this mild hangover go away! I know I keep going over my calorie count every weekend but at least I am not giving up and throwing in the towel. Here there is no one to judge me, here I can make as many mistakes that I want and jump right back into the swing of things.

Hopefully I feel as equally awesome as last week and I can keep up that wonderful, happy attitude! I think that eating healthier and exercising (somewhat) helps to contribute to this good mood. I actually look forward to this week and all of its challenges!

Have a great one! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

So proud of you for getting right back to it. Remember, it's a life style, not a diet. If you chose to indulge 10% of the time, so be it. It's the 90% of sticking to good health habits that counts. emoticon
