Critical Analysis on Fructose

Sunday, September 23, 2012

I'm finally done...for the most part. It took me 2 months but I have compiled quite a lengthy post on just the subject of fructose consumption and metabolism. I suggest reading it more then once and looking at all the citations listed

I already accept your conclusions... I will not give up the sugars in fruit, orange juice, vegetables but I will avoid the HFCS...as I try to avoid most processed food anyways. Love the Raiders clip as well.

I don't think you read the article in its entirety. My claim was not that HFCS is acceptable; my claim was geared towards the speculation of fructose consumption and metabolism in general because there are non-HFCS fructose sources that are being wrongfully attacked based on biased research. Re-read the full article in its entirety please.

emoticon You put a lot of work into your research. I respectfully disagree with your conclusion. For years science told us margarine is healthier than butter. Then we learned it's one molecule from plastic and clogs arteries more than an equivalent amount of butter. Despite all the evidence that HFCS are fine there's a good chance that in a few years science will discover an error in the evidence. I could be wrong but health is more important and buying a certain product.
