Wahoo the scale is finally moving a little more!!!
Dr appt was brutal in the pain dept, but he says I will be able to run again.So far same therapy at home but he gave me those brutal injuections in both sides of my heel.

As a child I was not really pushed into atheletics or any real activities for that matter. My dad a long haul trucker driver and my mom a registered nurse holding down the fort with 3 kids, hadn't done organized sports and stuff when they were littls so it just didn't happen. I did join volleyball when I was in the 5 or 6th grade, played the cello, did baton twirling and spent some time a the local girls /boys club. But by the time puberty was done with me, I did not do any sports after 8th grade. Only played the cello. I was overweight and had suppressed feeling of unworthiness due to some molestation issues from an Uncle. Stayed overweight all my teenage years and well into my adult life. However, I did cnofront my main demon when I was 22, no longer had the picture of this huge intimidating giant, but rather he was a pathetic average sized man.
My self esteem and self confidence began to get stronger and although the weight was always an issue, I was more healthy, in my actions and my food. The weight struggle continues but I know between my food and exercise I am healthier than I have ever been,.
I guess all of that to say, my daughter is totally making up for my sport lacking youth. She is super active and I could never be more proud. Yesterday she ran her Jr high School cross country meet, in 100 degree heat in I think 18 minutes, and then we drove straight to her soccer game,35 minutes later. She is my rockstar and my inspiration to keep giving my all
