How I gained 10 lbs this summer

Friday, September 21, 2012

I have successfully gained 10 lbs from July 2nd to September 21st.
I have been dieting while my family eats whatever and how much as they want.

My only solution is stress. My husband took a job across country and I'm left with all the stress of it.

I should be able to see a doctor and get help for this illness called obesity. But I have 100 times, and they have no answers for me.

My only answer is stress.
And I have no idea how to get rid of that. I have no family to support me with the kids.
Oh well, the only positive thing is that I can say "I give up!" But I would be lying. I refuse to give up. By the way this weight gain is not just this summer, it's been progressively going up for at least a few years. Just faster now.

I've tried lowering off my antidepressants, but that obviously did nothing. tracking food, exercise, etc.. Everytime I look up to see if I could have some mysteriously disease, a side effect is always weight LOSS. Yeah, no. I wish.

So, what to do… i don't know.
Thanks for reading.

I have been married for 3 years, i've found that women bear so much stress after getting married. i adore my husband and would do anything for him... but adding that to our already busy lives puts more stress on us. i gained 20lbs over a year after being let go from 2 jobs in a year. it was incredibly tough.
i am right there with you. i do not have depression, but have a thyroid disorder. i keep telling my doctor that the meds aren't working and need to be switched up as i can feel all of the symptoms again. he tells me i'm wrong and that i'm "just fine" and need to "lose weight" well no crap genius..i'm trying, but it's harder that one realizes.
good luck with everything. pls feel free to sparkmail me anytime. i'm happy to support you along your way. maybe we can find the yellow brick road to a stressless live together.
