I have noticed that the gross junk food I always ate doesn't taste near as good now that I'm focusing more on relatively clean foods. My issues are still with cookies and the moderation of mostly good for you foods. That being said, I do notice an increased ability to walk or go up stairs without being winded.

    I noticed the same with poor choice foods - after giving my body the better choice foods. I am so thankful for that outcome of positive changes made. emoticon

    Cookies are a downfall for this gal - standing in the cookie section of the grocery store, I used to tell myself that I would pace myself with them - or that they were nice to have on hand for serving company with a drink. I finally stopped lying to myself on that score when I realized that if they weren't within my reach, I wouldn't be able to go overboard with them. To that end, I no longer buy cookies. Although I do enjoy the occassional Graham cracker with a hot "cuppa" tea, as an afternoon or evening treat. Even then I have to watch myself so that I don't go overboard on the Graham crackers. emoticon If I see that they become a concern, I will simply stop purchasing them. emoticon

    It is amazing what we can live without in the aspect of poor food choices.
