Goals and Rewards

After my wellness group session this week I have decided to try something new. I have never rewarded myself for losing or sticking to plan. So I came up with this plan:

170: new app or book for the the Fire
165: wonderful smelly bath stuff
160: new app or book for the the Fire
155: new WATP video
150: new app or book for the the Fire
145: Kindle magazine subscription? (this one may change)
GOAL 140: Scrapbooking weekend
140 for 1 month: Swim coach

If you have any suggestions I would like to hear them. I have never set up rewards before. I realize that many would prefer to reward for behavior rather than pounds but I'm choosing pounds right now.

    You are a fellow scrapper!! And all this time I thought we only had being Ninjas in common! I have a room dedicated to scrap booking, not that I've had much time to use it lately. I love your rewards plan. You have inspired me to make a reward list of my own. That might take some thinking!! emoticon

    One of my rewards is a pedicure! I love them but when I set it as a goal, I don't let myself go until I've reached the goal! Good luck - it sounds like a workable plan!

    Your rewards sound emoticon It seems you enjoy your kindle as much I enjoy mine! There are 2 new WATP videos this fall so that one is on perfect timing too!

    Rewarding yourself sounds wonderful. Since I like music, I will try to reward myself with concerts. Also, I thought getting into some of the local run/walks would be fun. Exercise rewards. people are so fun at those events!

    Looks like a great start to me. I am no good at rewarding myself. I always come up with stupid things that really don't motivate me.
