I'm back in the game...

As many of you are already aware, I am not active on SP anymore. I love their tracker and also used MyFitnessPal prior to using SP's tracker, but found both very complicated and confusing. I'm not sure why, but it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks and when I used the WW points system I found it much easier and simplistic to follow. It may not be as rigid regarding eating healthy, but when it comes to losing weight I do much better on the Points system.
When I left SP a few months back, and took over taking care of two grandsons in addition to my 91 yr. old bedfast MIL, I got totally away from tracking. Although I maintained my weight when tracking on SP, I never really lost much. Then, when I got totally away from tracking I gained 10 lbs! I had to do something! I knew it was time to get back in the game, but finding time to keep track of what was going in my mouth and find time to exercise was challenging indeed!
I"ve found myself empathizing more recently with young mothers who used to attend my WW meetings and would talk about cooking and taking care of small children and what a hinderance it could be to there healthy lifestyle. I have more empathy now, then I did back then.
Anyway, long story short - Two weeks ago I was able to figure out a exercise regimen that will assist me in getting back in the game. I also discovered that I still had FREE e-tools and was able to use WW online tracker. So, I planned, prepared and began to hold myself accountable by stepping on the dreaded scale! After two weeks (1st week extremely challenging and only 1 lb. lost), I've lost 3.4 lbs in two weeks. I earned 15 Activity Points this past week (Today is day one of my 3rd week) and didn't use but only half of my Weekly Points.
I treasure the friends I've made on here and my primary goal in posting this blog is to let you know that I will be blogging somewhere else from now on. I have so many things that I enjoy blogging about and have wanted to start my own blog for a very long time. It's not done, I'm still in the setting up stage, but you can read what's going on in my life, if you choose by checking me out at:

I look forward to hearing from some of my old friends.
