Nutri-Bullet: Nutri-Blast Feast Day 1

Monday, September 17, 2012

Feeling a bit foggy this afternoon.

My husband and I, as well as the kids, started a Juice Feast using our new Nutri-Bullet this morning. Three juices later, I'm started to feel the effects. Wow, that is fast. Although so far, it's leaving me a little tired, slow, and light-headed. I think I need to drink more. I'm sure our kids aren't getting enough calories either. Going to have to play around with the mix and make sure everyone is getting what they need.

We plan to Feast for a week, but we won't keep the kids on it that long. Does anyone else have experience with Juice/Smoothie Feasts or Fasts?

I added some high protein foods to my diet when I am consuming my 2-4 Nutri-Blasts per day. I actually felt more energy, especially in the hours after drinking. I have mine mid-afternoon. Be careful, it can affect your blood sugar if you have had any issues with things like hypoglycemia. I wish you well on your plan, but add some other food if you don't feel well. emoticon emoticon Inga

My husband did a seven day juice fast. I didn't participate because I am full time breastfeeding and was worried about calories/milk supply. My husband also felt sluggish and groggy for a few days, but towards the end of it he felt better. We only have a regular juicer so we had a lot of waste, but with the Nutribullet you should be getting even better nutrition since it pulverizes everything. Are you doing this to curb cravings or as a jumpstart into something else? My husband was doing it to hopefully settle some GI problems that he experiences, but unfortunately it didn't help that. I hope you are feeling better soon. Usually the sluggish and groggy feeling does not necessarily mean that you are not eating enough. It can also be a symptom of detoxing your body. Stick with it!
