Cheer! cheer! You go girl! Good luck with the exercise wheel. Boy! that thing can really do some tightening up on the abs. I have never been able to use the thing no matter how young I was. I hope you can without hurting yourself. Give me a report on that soon. You are really going for the Gold. Great!! So glad you still have a good report about your eating plan. Thanks for your encouragement this morning. I was able to do a30 mins. very low impact fitness exercise class and 30 mins. later I did a 60 mins. water aerobics class. I am able to move around rest of the day a lot better when I do this. Tomorrow not any classes, but I will do 35 mins with Richard Simmons "Sweating and Toning with the Oldies" CD for 35 mins. and maybe a 30 mins. walk later on in the day. You are doing great with the weight loss. Keep it up ! 2255 days ago
When I first started to learn yoga 2 years ago.....well, putting it nicely...it was a joke! I quit several time and restarted again a few weeks later. I started to realize that as I became more comfortable with the tape I was watching and knew what moves were coming next, the better I was getting at it. To me, that is the first thing you should remember: keep doing the same DVD so the moves become familiar. When you no longer have to keep your eyes glued to the screen you can concentrate more on your form.
I felt so uncoordinated for the longest time....and even sometimes still. Just remind yourself that your goal is NOT to look like the people on the DVD (flowing movements with long lean legs and arms), rather your goal is to be the best YOU that you can be. I have strengthened my core and became so much more flexible than I ever thought possible...and I still don't have that beautiful flow! Maybe someday, but for now I am proud to be and do what I do. Keep it going!!! I know you can do it!! 2256 days ago
