12 Week Plan for success :)

Monday, September 17, 2012

Well, to start of with, I need to have more energy!!! I have tons of beautiful clothes I cant wear... All I need to do is eat less and work out. My plan for success is :

complete work out dvd for thirty minutes before kids start school.
Drink more water
Drink less beer and more water!!!
Try not to eat after 8pm
Try to go for a run five times a week... for at least one mile.

The hardest thing for me is being small naturally and not healthy ... It takes away the motivation to keep in shape. I am tired and stressed alot. By the end of the day I just want to go to bed. I usually fall asleep at 9:30pm on the couch. I dont really sit that much during the day. I keep very busy. But, I need to make a more pointed effort to workout and have better muscle tone. Even though I am smaller than most people... I feel I lack tone. I would love to me able to run three miles without stopping or walking. Its been a tough week. I started this challenge really sick. I have a really bad cold and its all I can do to workout while I have a fever and cant stop coughing...ughh . Next week I will be unstopable. The funny thing is I havent been sick in forever ... Guess its my challenge. Well looking forward to getting in shape toning up and fiting into my clothes. Being heath and having more energy! Generally feeling better about myself ... so I can be a better mom!

You've come to the right place to take action! You'll find a lot of encouragement and helpful information here! I know I have. For me working out was not the problem - I do it religiously at least 1 hour almost every day - it was the food tracking, but with the food tracker and recipe calorie counter here at SparkPeople, I don't have that problem anymore.

I love working out. Not only does it allow me to eat a little more, I have more energy, better muscle tone and the endorphins put me on a natural high that lasts a long time.

And the best thing is that when YOU feel better, your whole family benefits from that. Eating & being healthier and leading by example is the best gift you can give your family! emoticon emoticon

Sounds like you're determined if you are still working out with a fever. You will be unstoppable once you feel better. It's going to be a great 12 weeks!

Isn't that the way it always is? We get ourselves all geared up to finally make the change and then get sick or injured? I've had it happen and it sucks but stay positive and the cold will end and you'll be all the better and healthier for it. Good luck and great goals!

Watch the series on YouTube "THE SKINNY ON OBESITY" with Robert Lustig M.D.My adult children do the P90X work out with Tony Horton and they started it a year ago in January. Now they do INSANITY and they do P90X2 and also go to the gym since they are in such good shape. Just stay with it.
