Turtle Steps : Round 2

Very frustrated that my prior 20 minutes just somehow got deleted. Rather pissy about it and tired as muscle relaxer/pain pill kicks in. Here it is in a nut shell.
I have joined curves after I did almost 4 months of Physical therepy so I would be able to enjoy my Honeymoon in Mexico with a reduced fear of back problem. If back problem flairs up I am almost unable to walk to do pain and it doenst fix it self.
So PT helped, now w/Drs okay I have started Curves. This coming week will be week 4
I have allready noticed some very small improvements and NOT in any weight loss. One of the machines excercises the small muscles along lower spine/hip area. Even w/PT
after walking or using lawn mower briefly these would seize up in a massize spasm of pain that almost nothing got rid of but meds.
I realized that this machine was using them so I have carefully and diligently made sure to use this machine. It seems to easy that I overdid it the first 2 weeks and I couldnt figure out why my back was starting to hurt. I went in and figured it out, slowed down and gave it a break and then continued.

salamharvest.org gets fields donated, then they have volunteers to join in harvest parties. half what you harvest goes to food banks, you can keep the other half. Or you can keep some and donate as much as you want as long as its min of half what you keep. Cool deal right?
So Thursday I harvested Yellow squash, bending twising, walking in the hot sun thru very gnarly rutted fields for 40 minuts.(beats curves work out to bits trust me!) then was volunteer for about 45 min for check in desk. Left, got home and realized that night my LOWER BACK HAD NOT SPASSMED AT ALL. NO PAIN. NONE. YAHOO!
No my legs and hamstrings from squating, bending twisting etc yes. Hip side muscle a bit of a twinge but the lower back was riding smooth and easy.
So, was this a fluke? I DONT THINK SO.!
sO THIS Saterday joined another harvest group, this of broccoli and ladys and gents drum roll please. !! I ROCKED THE HARVEST. OH YEAH.! We did it, me and my sister and my 2 nieces for 1 hour. I did slow down about 45 min in as I felt the muscles giving warning signs, growing a bit tight so I played it cool and it never got worse. In fact today, sunday, I havnt felt a twinge.
My legs though, oh la la, they do ache a bit more but they will live.
So turled I am.
I have lost no weight, or I did then it came back the next week. So no loss at all but in strength and being able to do somethings I really wanted to do. It shows progress that no scale can every truly convey.
