This is my plan for the next 12 weeks.
I have started Phase 2 of my weight loss journey, I call it the next 30 pounds. I'm determined and focused to stay on track, by writing down everything, staying in my calorie range, exercising and being committed to the big picture.
Week 1 September 12th - 18th
This week I was just trying to get to know everyone, and stay in the saddle. It turned out I was a better rider than I thought. I accomplished the TNT, I tracked my food everyday and accomplished several non-scale things that let me know I can do this challenge. Y'all encouraged me to do things I never would have done.
Week 2- September 19th - 25th
This week I will track everything, continue my cardio routine everyday, and strength train 3 times a week. This week I will stay focused on calories. I'm not buying any snacks for the weekend, and will eat my usual meal of gumbo and salad when out with friends Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday will be the challenge its our birthday group girls night out. I will suggest 1 dessert with multiple spoons, and eat 1 or 2 bites.
Week3- September 26th- October 2nd
This will be an easy week. Nothing is scheduled except the regular everyday things. I will prepare meals on the weekend so we can brown bag lunch, and have dinner at home already cooked.
The weather should be cool enough to plan some outdoor activities. We can get back to walking.
Week 4- October 3rd - October 9th
Another easy week. Will follow the same plans for food, and exercise. Always cardio everyday, and strength train at least 3 times a week. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. I'm ona roll, being a good little mustang!!!!
Week 5- October 10th -16th
Same ole same ole. Instead of being humdrum, I'm going to make it interesting. Change up a few things. Sneak a few surprise rides in there.

Week 6- October 17th - 23rd
Have FUN and be silly at the October soiree while staying on track. Have FUN without going overboard!!! I can do it!!!! I'm strong!!! I'm a diva and a mustang!!!
Week 7- October 24th - 30th
Here we GEAUX!!! A funfilled day of shopping at Hollydays. Plan for the meal, and drink lots of water. You will get cardio from all the walking, looking, lifting, toting and just plain old having FUN!!!
Week 7- October 31 - November 6th
Now this is an interesting week. Halloween kicks it off with lots of goodies. I love giving out candy, and will bring the leftovers to work. Will allow for failure here, because I'm a chocoholic
It just taste good!!! That about covers it!!!
Novermber is my birth month, and I believe in a month long celebration!!! Here will be the problem. The first of many celebrations will be on Tuesday November 6th. We will have celebrated the Game of the Century on November 3rd, and then we will have cause to celebrate my birth month. No need for worry here. At halftime we will power walk the subdivision to let off steam and nerves!!!! That will happen a lot in November. We always power walk at halftime.
The first of many birthday celebrations will be lunch at my choice of restaurants, so I will make sure they have good gumbo, and stay on track. Share the dessert!!!
Week 8- November 7th - 13th
This week is worse than the last by far!!! Friday is Girls Night Out with the Divas, Saturday we will be power walking at halftime and munching snacks. Monday I will be having a birthday tea with the divas, and Tuesday is my actual birthday. Dinner out with my darling sweetheart !!!
Yummy, what a week. It will be difficult, but I will plan on having small amounts of goodies at each of these outings. I will be asking for help from all of my Mustang friends, because I have yet another week of celebrating to do.
Week 9- November 14th-20th
Thursday I will be having yet another birthday dinner with friends. That's what I get for being so nice and kind to people!!!
This weekend we will be celebrating 36 years of happiness. We will be visiting New Orleans, walking in the Quarter, so I will get some exercise!!! But, the food is to die for, and I can't resist it!!! Beignets and cafe au lait for breakfast Yummy!!! I will only eat one beignet, but still...homemade pralines, seafood, steak and oh so much more!!!!! What's a girl(Queen) to do?!?!?! I have to indulge a little, but...I will be walking a lot. So hopefully, that will minimize the damage. I say Help, Help, Help!!!!I'm going to need all of y'alls strong mustang spirit to make it through this. Then...we have....
Week 10- November 21st- 27th
THANKSGIVING!!!! Enough said!!!! I will make sure my plate is filled with turkey and green beans, but do you really think I can resist chocolate pie or lemon icebox pie???? I'm telling you I'm going to try and make it through this month without a weight gain, and if by some strange sprinkling of fairy dust, I happen to lose, y'all better be ready to RIDE with the wind, cause we will be showing how hard we can ROCK it!!!! Oh well, we must go on to yet another week.
Week 11- November 28th - December 4th
We will have one more hooray, if LSU wins the West Division of the SEC. The SEC Champoinship game will be December 1st. We will power walk, and eat healthy to make up for all the overindulgences of the previous weeks.
I will stay in touch and remain friends with the Midnight Mustangs forever!!! I foresee another challenge in our future!!!! Thanks to all of you for helping me get over yet another hurdle. I have actually made a BLOG!!!!
