I'm finding that as I get older my body isn't responding to the pat rules of weight loss. For some reason the CICO formula needs to be tweaked and I'm finding I have to keep experimenting with different strategies in order to win this game.

My Play Book:
emoticon Employ a "nickle defense" on those random handfuls of snacks including too many nuts and raisins.
emoticon Utilize my "home field advantage" by preparing soup each week for quick lunches.
emoticon "Roll out" and look for a bread substitute that doesn't make me bloat up (start playing with soaking grains).
emoticon "Go long"--increase running speed and distance.
emoticon "Blitz" my muscles by getting back to strength training two times a week.
emoticon Stop acting like a "rookie" and develop consistency and discipline.
emoticon "Recover from fumbles" and don't let them interrupt my focus.
emoticon Come out "passing on first down"--Get up and exercise early in the day.
emoticon Use "time outs" wisely and get enough sleep.
