OK, so, today I went to get some new jeans I had tried on and tried them on again. and decided to get the size 8 in both washes. (color of blue).
I know they are still a little "tight" in the waist but its doable. lol and i'll save on getting new jeans for a while yet. emoticon

I know I have a lot of work on my body and weight loss. I'm not that tall. so, I need to lose at least 21.5 more pounds, if not a little more and i NEED to be working on muscle definition. Its not gonna be "good enough" to just reach my goal (though i excitedly anticipate that day!) I want to have nice defined arms and abs etc. I dont know about you but I have a "swimmers build" they would say. I wish i could swim. lol never could get the hang of the side breathing inhaling air instead of water thing. anyway i digress, i am broad shouldered and have thick upper arms. well, in my "old" age. (no seriously it does something to your arms as you get older) my thick upper arms have turned to that, BAT WING, GRANDMA FLAP, SADDLE ARM thing. and i am NOT happy seeing my reverse bicep in my t-shirt in the mirror. lol
So, I am Gonna start working on this area, maybe during commercials etc. I have time. I just worry about over-working my arms the day before work. lol but i can do it tuesdays and wednesdays and do little things the other days. lol so yeh, i want to get Toned and fit!!

still have to work on the "pinch an inch" but they are wearable! and i like them! :) (p.s. i dont wear sandals and socks out. those are my house sandals, in case you were wondering. ) lol

oh, new short sleeved sweater too. i took off the a-line belt they had and cut the strings. i think belts should be functional. and not quite sure the purpose they serve on a shirt. i mean, not like i'm standing over any high pressure fans threatening to de-robe me from the bottom up, so yeh. shirt belts = madness in my book. lol

ok, hope you are doing good, thank you so much for letting me share my journey with you!!

You look great! I have the arm problem myself. If you come across any awesome exercises to tone arms pls send them to me as well!
Size 8 is quite an accomplishment. You are in the single digits of pants sizes! All your hard work is showing on your body for sure. Congrats girlie!

Awesome job! Thanx for making me smile and laugh! I need that today. I now love buying a size i almost fit in and then in a few weeks, give or take, it fits perfect and then gets a little big.
Just started taking a swimming class, and i still haven't figured out the breathing thing. I love this toning thing! Still have a long way to go, but love feeling stronger and cool being able to do some of strength training exercises i so couldn't do before! You look great, keep up the awesome work! emoticon

Good for you! What size did you start at?

I actually DO swim, 2-3 miles a week, and I dance. I never get told that I have a swimmer's or dancer's body, but I do get all kinds of compliments on my yoga butt.

    I don't do any yoga. ;)

WOOHOO girl! WAY TO ROCK size 8!!! ST~~ST~~ST!! ok sorry that was my soapbox for a minute, but I swear ST is the BEST thing since sliced bread. By the way, I used to absolutely HATE to do it, but I love the definition in my arms, and how toned my legs are looking, and even my abs. Sure they all still need some work, but let me tell you they use to be a lot worse!!! I did this ROCKIN' ST routine for our tighten n' tone for BLC today, and I really think I am going to incorporate it into my routine several more times this year. It really made me work. 426 calories worth, and trust me that is a lot for ST. I usually get a lot less than my cardio routines. However, my cardio was incorporated into it, but still! I have done cardio and ST together before and NEVER got a burn like that. Ok sorry, I guess I was still on my soapbox. LOL Anyway my muscles feel it already! SO maybe it's time to think ST??

You are hilarious! I have freakishly long arms and I have been told I should swim. Not going to happen. But now I digress. I think you look great and the jeans may be tight now but in a couple of weeks they will be perfect. You really look great, though.
