C25k W1D2 for Speed

hi spark

today i just did the NHS C25k W1D2 workout.
which is the same as day 1.
5 min brisk walk
60 run/90 walk x8
5 min walk

total 30 mins, and i did 2.1 mile at the end ;p

My goal is to get from my 12-13 min/mile marathon pace back to my 9:30 pace

Also working on my stride emoticon to emoticon .
lol mind you there is NOTHING wrong with running either way

i just need a goal! and i really want to be able to run with form.

I know my body is made for ENDURANCE! and not speed!

Although I only ran 30 mins vs the 1-2:30 hrs for marathon training!

I see a BIG difference in my body.

During my summer vacay, my sis signed me up with a personal trainer.
She happens to run too.

so one day i had her video tape me on the Dreadmill.
and she pointed out my issues.

so i am working on them ;p

Although i am burning only 100-200 cals LOl vs 700-1000 cals
i m feeling sore and fueling is NOT an issue ;p

right now i am basking in the freedom to RUNNING however I want.

unlike the marathon training...I m come to the park, just to RUN
No prior expectations like today is 10 miles...8 miles......16 miles

i did 2 miles today, hahaha...i was out of breath and panting.

I ran TOP speed
increased my STRIDE at least x3

so when the 60 secs were up...i was wiped out ;p

MY PLAN...now that I experienced this new program.

I am going to progress through the week as i see fit.

Main goal is to get down to 10 min/mile

then push to 9-930 min/mile!

AGAIN.....I COULD JUST RUN

BUT I REALIZED I NEED GOALS....TO GET ME OUT THERE

I NEED SOMETHING TO PUSH ME THROUGH THAT IS MEASURABLE

no more picture, no more weighing, I need to be happy in my skin.

right now I m in 10-12 pants

no more pictures...b/c my silly phone automatically share all my pics on the phone with ppl on the same app/program...google plus something

I can't confirm, but I get pics from ppl on that "list' from FB
so.....I m too scared to take any more pics of my progress.

anyways, my DS is talking over me...I can't concentrate....
