Urgent Prayer Request!!

Tuesday, September 11, 2012

I would really appreciate prayers today for Kristina, my daughter in law (to-be, but that's just a technicality - she's already my daughter in heart, as anyone who has read here knows!) She's in Grand Rapids right now preparing for her 10am disability hearing. this is her appeal hearing; and her advocate and doctors feel she has a VERY strong case - but there are never any guarantees, as anyone knows. She has Lupus, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, chronic migraines and fibromyalgia. With all of that going on, no one can find a good med combination to treat *anything* that doesn't mess up something else! emoticon

Plus, my 4 year old grandson, Brycen, is picking up on all the tension - he threw a fit when I took him to school today (he just started Y5's) - and tried to run out of the school! We do the driving to school in the morning. Kristina can't drive until at least December because of her last seizures. I think he's worried that Mommy might not come home today, because of her prior lengthy hospitalizations where, in his eyes, she kissed him goodbye and disappeared. Every time I go somewhere, even for a little while, he asks me "but you'll come back, right, Gramma?" emoticon My sweet baby!

I have asked to have my sister to add you to her prayer circle. and I have lit a candle for your may the lord and lady aid in her triumph and healing. I have a dear friend who has lupus. she contracted it when her class went to a school camping trip.
But there is hope she still has the best yard in town make the most wonderful (heathy) soal food dishes, and although altered a very active social life. please let her know that lupus is not a death sentence to all the things she loves it is just a wall. and as my friend says you can go under it over it or through it. god always gives us a way.

I understand the majority of disability hearings are denied on first try. I will pray that your daughter has the strength to win the court over whether it be now or on the appeal. Whatever happens, I pray the process doesn't weaken her faith.

I also have Fibro along with an entire litany of other disorders. I had to get a lawyer to get my disablity and fight for what I now get. Thankfully, it came in with only two turn downs and one process with the lawyer. I have heard of people get turning down for years and years even with the lawyer working for them.

My thoughts and prayers are with her, and Brycen and for you as well. Helping out takes alot of you too.

Best wishes to you all, and good luck

I am on disability too. I have plenty of health care problems and go to the doctors' all the time. I am grateful that she won! That will be a huge help to the family! I pray for security for Brycon as his Mommy goes through all the medical challenges that she has. I pray for her healing and that God would help her in every way. I ask for medical mercies on her life. God bless you and your family and take care of all of you!
Love to you! In Christ's Name, the blessed name above all names!
