Am I going crazy or just burnt out?

Monday, September 10, 2012

So the past few days I have been lets just say "on the outs" with the social networking world. I live in a small town and one comment or status that says to much and the entire world knows you business. I'm just tired of hearing about everyone's personal life and honestly I'm tired of sharing mine. Mind you I am careful what I post more so now days but sometimes I worry I've said to much. I actually went a far as to delete it the other day but realized that was my way of getting a hold of a few people. I don't mind hearing some news and seeing pictures but there are just things I really don't care to know. I miss the days when you had to call your friends to see how life was treating them....

Anyways I rarly feel like posting anymore and when I do there has to be somebody that comments that I find irritating. Maybe I'm just truly burnt out on it. I'm growing bored of it. Which to me is weird since I use to be very addicted.

At this point in my life I feel like I could just move to the middle of the forest and hide away from the world for awhile. Come back rejuvenated and all natured out lol. Am I the only one who is starting to feel this way or is there other people out there who are too getting burnt out on fb? Ehh I don't know I'm at a crossroads with FB and not sure which direction to go. Who would of known a social networking site would play such a big part in your life?

On a side note, I am now down to 205. Which is about 80lbs down from my highest weight. I'd really like to know where all the fat goes? lol I may possible be loosing my mind.

I can definitely relate. I used to check my facebook a couple times a day....now it's unusual for me to check it once a week. It's too much drama! Good for you for recognizing that you want less of this in your life!

I think that since technology is always so often in our faces, that we do become burnt out on it. FB can tend to be nothing but drama at times, also, so that doesn't help. I love your idea of getting away from the "world" and technology for a few days! Awesome job on your weight loss too!
