09/09/12 - Fit by 40 Week 5

One month complete with Fit by 40. 4 weeks down. 72 weeks to go! Here are my measurements for the day.

Weight - 323 lbs - change of 17 lbs - goal was 8 lbs - 9 lbs over goal
Stomach - 53 inches - change of 1.5"
Waist - 48 inches - change of 2.5 "
Thigh - 29.5 inches - change of .5"
Arm - 17.5 inches - change of .5"
Neck - 17.5 inches - change of .5"

In the past month my eating habits have changed dramatically. I went from eating as much as twice my daily limits to within my recommended daily limits. I have also completely kept away from sodas, and sweets are down to a minimum. I did have a splurge day on Labor Day, but even splurging, I ate much less than I would have eaten prior to starting my diet.

Due to the rains lately, I haven't been able to put in as much hiking as I have wanted to. That said, I have found other ways to get in exercise. Be it walking the mall with my family, or even throwing a football for 30 minutes with the kiddo.

I haven't seen as much change in my overall appearance, but can tell that I have lost some weight in my face. My dress shirts are also not fitting quite as tight in the stomach.

Here's to starting month 2.
