My Motivation, thanks to my sister Cheryl,

Wednesday, September 05, 2012

My sister Cheryl and I are very close; however, she moved to Texas 7 years ago. We stay in touch with video chat thanks to the internet and of course texting on our cell phones.

I was having a rough day, and feeling down. I was telling Cheryl, how that it hurts that, my children and our other sisters do not seem to care or to have any interest in the fact that I am losing weight. They simply just say that is good and change the subject.

I told her I was great full for her and for my youngest sister Charlene. They make me feel good about myself and for sticking to it, getting healthy and learning a new life style. My sister Cheryl text me these that she had made up; they made me cry. She said she was very proud of me for what I was doing and hoped these would help me keep motivated no matter what others say or do not say. I wanted to share them with others; they maybe corny, but to me they are perfect.

#1. Debbie is losing weight!
She is doing great!
Stand up sit down, fight fight fight!!!
She leans to the left!
She leans to the right!
She works out right!
Stand up sit down, fight fight fight!!!

#2. Eating right is Debbie’s fight!
Counting calories, fats, proteins, and carbs is her plight!
She has pride it shows in her eyes!
No more junk food not even fries!
The weight is coming off! The inches too…
Clothes hanging down all the way around...falling to the ground!
A whole new Debbie is on the way!
It will take some time, but you will see!
A whole new Debbie soon to be!!!

#3. Losing weight can be tough!
I am going to do it no matter how rough!
Will power and strength is what I need!
With that, I will succeed!
I love my family and want them to see…
The strength I have to make this happen for me!
To be a healthier, happier, and a new slimmer me!
I can do this I know I can, taking it one day at a time is my plan!
I am proud of what I have accomplished and will continue to be…
I have a goal and it is going to happen for me!
I want to be an inspiration for my family, for others and not just for me!

This next one made me cry hard…I love and miss Cheryl a lot…thank god for technology!

#4. Debbie is strong as I always knew, she has shown me how and what to do.
She has inspired me to get on board, to lose weight, to fight, and gave me a healthy
She loves her family with her heart and soul!
You can see how much she means to me!
From her strength, I am trying hard to drop my weight…
With what she has done, she has shown me it can be fun!
Your losing weight and people will say; wow, Debbie is shrinking away!
I am happy for you Debbie, and want you to know just how much you mean to me…
You are a beautiful person inside and out, and that is all it is really about!!!
Love you Sis!!!

I have all four of them posted where I can see them every day. On the days, I want to quit, and trust me there are them days. Maybe not as many as when I first started; however, there are still them days. I am sure there will be plenty more of them. Although; with the help of my sister Cheryl, I will, stay motivated. I just read one or all of them, and pull myself up and get going. Thank you Cheryl I love you too, very much, and we will be healthier and happier with our new selves. GOOOOOO CHERYL!!!!!!
