August Report

August was a great month for me. I had set a goal to run 40 miles. Even put it up on Facebook for accountability. Guess what? I did it! 40.91 miles for the month of August! I'm running in a 7k on 9/15 and a 5k on 10/5. Will let you guys know how it goes.

I'm also doing great on my strength training and stretching. Got the September issue of Self magazine with Coach Nicole's workout cards. Some really fresh strength training moves. Have done the workout twice, both times with sweat pouring!

I'm maintaining my weight, but the sweet muscle tone I've gained has gotten several compliments over the last month or so. Makes me feel so good to have people notice my hard work.
