To be the girl on fire!

Just started Turbo Fire yesterday!
I've done Turbo Jam workouts before, so mostly I knew what I was getting into. Chalene annoys me to no end, but I just turn up the music and I'm good to go! I only have 7 more weeks till we go to DR, and I NEED to see some results.
I've wanted to do TurboFire for a while now, but I didn't have the cash for it. Thankfully I have a friend who owns it.
I had ordered the Insanity program off some scary website, so HOPEFULLY it comes haha, its supposed to be here by the 15th. So my plan is to do the 20 weeks of the turbofire and then go into insanity when i am done. YEHAW.

In other news, I've had an interesting start to the month. Saturday we did a trip to NYC to the Met to do a tour, which was AMAZING. It was a great day. Then we headed down to my parents for their 45th anniversary. My sister had a dance party at a friends house and it was a grand ole time. Then when we all got up on Monday morning my dad had been sick all night vomiting and woundnt get out of bed until around 630 when we dragged him downstairs to eat soup and watch a movie with the rest of us. I hate seeing him sick and it makes my hear ache that I live an hour away. I know that's not very far but its far enough that I can't check in on him everyday if I needed to :( In the middle of all that we got a call that my husbands Grandfather is in the hospital because he has a lung infection. Hes having surgery as I type right now at the hosp across the street from where I work. So its all family drama with his side of the fam. They make me wanna pull my hair out. Gramps is my favorite though, so I worry for him. He is the sweetest old man you will ever meet. Hands down.

So heres to hoping this month ends on a better note than it began!

Keep the faith, and good luck with everything.
Nice background, BTW. I've posted some of the cool new artwork for this season over on the team page.

I LOVED TurboFire. I loved it enough that even now, if I missed the gym but want a good workout, I'll do Fire 55 or 45. Or 30 if I don't feel like getting insanely sweaty.

I'm sorry your family is sick Hannah. But I'm so glad to hear how well you're doing with your own health and fitness!

Wow, sounds like a crazy week.

By the end of TurboFire, I think you'll have done a complete 180° on Chalene. I never thought I liked "peppy," but when you're just 10 agonizing minutes away from finishing an hour of of roundhouses and plyo, and the perky blonde with amazing -everything- yells, "You're not tired!" and "You look amazing!" it helps to believe her.
