Day Two....

I just posted a couple comments on friends' pages, and I realised something I wrote is very true...I'm glad to be back!

Life is seeming a little chaotic lately and when I can take myself in hand and plan and DO - I feel more calm and centered.

My lovely daughter called and asked if she could come see me today. She misses me, bless her soul! (This is the daughter that moved out in April while I was out of the country. I wouldn't have objected to her leaving, but we'll just let her keep on thinking she got away with something ok?) She wants to take me out to lunch and I told her no unless we can get a salad or something. Turns out the local bowling club does a lovely chicken caesar. My chosen food plan is high quality fat/moderate protein/low carb veggies and fruit. No wheat products.

Husband is working an insane schedule right now so I have incentive not to snore at night. Now I have to tell all fairness I do NOT snore like a longshoreman. I snore daintily. But it's still disruptive to him. So staying out of the wheat appears to help and I am very willing to do it for him. I have to explore why I will not eat something bad for me for HIM, but I won't do it for ME when it causes nothing but upset stomach, headache, snotty head and heartburn.

Weighed myself this morning for the first time in ages. I'm back to where I started. Better go be honest and adjust the ticker. Ack!

    I will be really interested to see how it goes with your new diet choices. I have a good spark friend who writes about the benefits of a similar diet. Her spark name is VHALKYRIE and you kind find her icon on my page under my friends. If you are interested she really explains things really well. She switched her diet about this time last year and although she is not gluten free she does not eat much. Anyway she has done well and I thought you might find some of her blogging useful.

    I gotta run to work but I'm gonna try and read "day three" during my coffee break.
