August review/ September goals

I can't believe it's September already..woohoo!!! We are at the 53 days until my wedding!!

Not much to review for August. I didn't even do 500 minutes which makes me kind of laugh. I broke my 1,000 min/month streak that I had set for 2 years. But you know what..THAT'S OK AND I"M NOT GOING TO BEAT MYSELF UP!! August was an extremely busy month. I had 2 weeks where I had something to do every night during the week and the weekends were ridiculous. It was a fun month but really busy!

I learned that even if I let my heel rest it doesn't feel better. It was kind of something I've been wondering so at least now I know. However I am going to try it on the indoor track vs. outside road. I'm thinking maybe a smooth surface might be better. I'm not giving up on running because I love it!! So August was August..that's all I'm saying. I did learn an important lesson..quit hating on myself! I didn't realize how hard I was on my body until this past month. Yes I could stand to lose 20 lbs but I'm not 19 anymore and I have "feminine features" like a C-cup and a butt. I can't really change those, some women just have those. And I like them! I don't want to be a freaking stick..that's not attractive to me. So from now on I'm doing what I'm doing to be healthy..not to lose weight. I already for the most part quit weighing myself. I can tell I haven't been eating as much and I'm guessing the closer the wedding gets the more that will be the case just b/c of nerves!


I don't even know what goals to set because this is going to be another busy month. But here are things to focus on:

1. 200 minutes/wk minimum
2. 1,000 minute/month
3. I would like to get up in the morning 15/18 workday mornings
4. I want to stick as close to my Sept Jillian rotation as I can. I know it's probably going to take me 6 weeks instead of a month but that's ok.

We have alot of wedding things to do in September and then we have a wedding to go to and I have a wedding to be in. Ryan is getting baptized this coming weekend and my Kokomo bridal shower is also this month.

I'm going to try to be more active on spark. I feel like I've been slacking a little bit. But I'm only going to plan a wedding like this once so I'm going to enjoy every minute of it!!

    Good luck for you to achieve your goals this September! Do those indoor vs outdoor running, I think with those different environment your body will get more challenges :D

    My August was gone so fast that I couldn't even setup my goals LOL So September will be more spectacular!
