It's Never Too Late...

Sunday, September 02, 2012

I found this quote on the SparkCoach page today and love it:

Its never too late - in fiction or in life- to revise *Nancy Thayer*

So I am revising.

I love Spark! Just today I learned how to cut a mango and filet a fish, assessed my motivation ( getting there...I'm Quasi-motivated!)Learned some tips on how to get to sleep easier ( Now if only my 9 month old could get some tips on sleeping through the night...) reinforced my knowledge that I don't drink ANYTHING but my morning coffee while Im at work for 12 hours, and that a Milky Way bar will throw a wrench in my food tracker. Won points on the SparkWheel, and viewed a few inspirational blogs and photos.

A lot of time has gone by since I have been here, but I am ready to try again. I was reading over my blogs from the last time and felt a little sad- i have a lot of painful memories associated with that time in my life, but I have been working hard- and I'm still working. Revising. Editing. Whatever you want to call it. I am learning to take baby steps, that it's not healthy for me to put so much pressure on myself, and that time goes by very quickly.

My girls amaze me every day with how fast they are growing and how much they love life. There are so many things I want to do with them, and WILL do with them. This is such a special time. My motivation lies in them and I know this time I will succeed. ( That just made me think of The Little Engine That Could...I think I can, I think I can...) So I will chug along and keep my eyes on the prize...

emoticon back to SP. So glad I got to read your blog. You are a very wise women with a lot of heart! I know you can reach your goals with the knowledge you possess. Losing weight and getting healthier is a process and we learn as we go along. Is it easy...NO...Is it worth it...YES...Do we learn amazing things as we go through our journey about our self...YEP...Is the journey smooth and perfect...Nope...Do we want to give up and times - especially when we slip...YEP emoticon emoticon Are we going to...NO Why...because we are determined, strong, like the way we feel when we are exercising, eating well and losing weight. SO... change your mantra to I KNOW I CAN...I KNOW I CAN! Believe in yourself, your dreams and your goals! emoticon
